Sure, it might seem like a good idea. Sure, you might not be able to think about anything else to get for that hard to buy for person on your Christmas list, but under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you ever break down and buy a Chia Pet. Sure, the Chia pet has been around for 25 years now, yep it's a Chia-versary, but does that really make the Chia Frog, Chia Elephant, Chia Hippo, Chia Cow, Chia Bunny, Chia Dino, Chia Bear, Chia Bull, Chia Ram, Chia Turtle, Chia Crocodile, Chia Pig, Chia Guy, Chia Professor, Chia Shrek, or even Chia Scobby Doo (yes, there are plenty more than 16 of these Chia's out there) a good present? NO! Sure, you might get an alarm clock that says "cha cha chia", but do you really want one? Trust me, no one really wants a Chia Pet.

How enlightening, I have never heard of such a thing. Horrible - is the word that comes to mind, however.
