I'm Sorry You Don't Know Where Your Pants Are, But I Do
05.20.2009
Rather a form of misdirected communication, rather than an act of common thievery. Huh? Well, I found it rather odd when I was checking one of my email accounts and saw I had an order for some Levi's pants that I didn't order. Oh dear, identity theft alert. But wait, it wasn't my credit card or name that was being used, it was my email account. So, I've been receiving all of the typical emails you get when you order something online, including tracking information. I feel sorry for this person. Maybe they could care less to know that their pants are in the middle of Kansas, in sunny California, or wherever pants come from. Personally, I love tracking the status of my packages, and frankly, that alone is worth using UPS or FEDEX. Maybe I'll track your package for you, simply so that wonderful feature isn't put to waste, and I'll know more about where pants come from.
