We Were Lying There On A Blanket By The Stairs

Sitting back in the easy chair has not been the typical activity lately. With frequent trips back and forth for The Teacher and myself, moving her and my stuff, attending showers, and planning the actual event, we've been busier than bees. Busy enough that I still have some things in places that during the move were only temporary locations. You know, boxes of monkeys here and there, photography gear on the counters and clothes still packed in suitcases.

Another item that has been neglected lately has been my bike commuting. I'm not sure why, but made more excuses and took the easy way out more often. This week at least I got back on track and got three days in. I haven't had a double digit days ridden month yet, but I'm on track to at least hit that number. I'm still adjusting to the new route as well, but the pedals of fury have been spinning and I don't plan on backing down.

So, last weekend, The Teacher and myself attended our third and final shower before the big day. We had another awesome cake that made good use of our save the date photo:

Yep, two-weeks from today is the actual day. Hmmmmm.. do you think we're going to be sitting down in our easy chairs during the next few weeks? I don't think so. Set those easy chairs aflame!
